A word about the PABirds Mailing List
- To post a message to the list for all subscribers to receive, send the email to PABIRDS@LIST.AUDUBON.ORG. When posting, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your message has been distributed to the list. Your post will not be sent to your mailbox.
- If you will be away from your email for a period of time, send a message to LISTSERV@LIST.AUDUBON.ORG and leave the subject line blank. In the body of the message, type SET PABIRDS NOMAIL.
- To resume delivery of PABirds messages, again, send a message to LISTSERV@LIST.AUDUBON.ORG and leave the subject line blank. In the body of the message, type SET PABIRDS MAIL.
PABirds is an email-based mailing forum for birders to discuss birds in Pennsylvania which includes postings for rare birds, locations for finding birds, bird behavior, bird identification, bird & hawk watch counts, backyard birding, trip reports and just about anything related to birds.
To subscribe to PABirds, which is free, all you need to do is send an email to LISTSERV@LIST.AUDUBON.ORG and type SUBSCRIBE PABIRDS Firstname Lastname in the body of the email message and leave the subject line blank. An automated confirmation will be mailed back to you with instructions on various options and posting.
